Musical feuds probably date back as far as music itself. One assumes that when some caveman first figured out how to pound rhythmically on a log, some other caveman soon came along and thumped him ... moreupside the head with a rock (and then boasted about it in the caveman press). Music is really the perfect venue for animosity: you have ego, creativity, competition, money, and talent all in one boiling kettle. For fans, a good music feud also provides a little bit of subtext and intrigue to the music of our favorite artists. Here then are ten of the more intriguing feuds of popular music history, in reverse chronological order, along with their highly scientific animosity level.
