Backstreet Boys announce 20th anniversary tour: In the
unlikely event you managed to miss them the first time around, or the much
scarier thought that "oughties" nostalgia is already upon us, listen up: The
Backstreet Boys have gotten the “band” back together. WENN reported this ... more week
that the quintessential millennial boy band (not counting all the other
identical ones) went on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show to announce their 20th
anniversary tour, which will feature a complete reunion of all five original
members. A quick search of the Internet revealed that there were, in fact, five
members of the Backstreet Boys, and presumably, one or more of them left at some
point, but that was then. "That's right, baby!” singer Nick Carter was heard to
exclaim. “All five of us are back together. It's our 20th anniversary tour.
We've got a brand new album coming out." According to the article, the tour
launches Aug. 2 in Chicago, with support from Jesse McCartney (no relation) and
DJ Pauly D, better known as one of the loveable gang from TV’s “Jersey Shore.”
