judas priest a touch of evil live coverJudas Priest's new album A Touch Of Evil - Live comes out on Tuesday, and it's terrific. It features songs recorded on their 2005 and 2008 tours following the return of vocalist Rob Halford, and focuses on album cuts long beloved by fans rather than the big hits already featured on their previous live albums Unleashed In The East and Priest...Live! (yeah, yeah, they did two live albums with Ripper Owens, too...spare me, please).

Anyway, you can hear A Touch Of Evil - Live in its entirety by visiting MetalSucks.net, so go do that, because it's a really powerful reminder that Judas Priest haven't lost a step live. They're on tour this summer, playing their 1979 album British Steel in its entirety, so you should maybe think about checking that out, too.

Ruination album coverArizona-based technical death metal band (okay, call them "deathcore" if you want) Job For A Cowboy are currently streaming their entire new album, Ruination (album cover seen above), from their MySpace page.

The 10-song album is a step forward from an already better-than-decent 2007 album (and first for the Metal Blade label) Genesis, and marks the studio debut of longtime live drummer Jon Rice. An extremely trustworthy writer for Alternative Press said Ruination "mixes tech-death precision with expressionist hardcore rage quite ably, and marks Job For A Cowboy as a band fully deserving of their success."

Ruination will be in record stores on Tuesday, July 7, and the band will be one of the support acts on this year's Rockstar Energy Mayhem Festival tour, co-headlined by Slayer and Marilyn Manson, which kicks off Friday, July 10. Job For A Cowboy filmed a video for the song "Regurgitated Disinformation" in Philadelphia on June 6, which will show up someplace where music videos are played sometime soon, we're sure.

Here's a live video of Job For A Cowboy performing the new song "Constitutional Masturbation":
