Before the emergence of OutKast, the idea of a classic 1930s country club look becoming not just acceptable but near-essential in hip-hop culture would have been laughable. But along came Andre 3000's wild acid preppie style — as seen (multiple times) in the indelible "Hey Ya" video, not to mention the underrated film "Idlewild" — and all scripts were irrevocably flipped.
