The game of musical chairs that is Hollywood's hook-up scene plays on, with
the tunes stopping long enough last week for Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel to swap seats.
During Easter weekend, ScarJo, 22, was spotted spit-shining the tonsils of Ryan Reynolds, 30, in New York, just a month after he was seen out and about in Los Angeles with Jessica,
his "Blade: Trinity" co-star.
Now, it appears Biel is once again cozying up to Justin Timberlake, whom she reportedly joined for some snowboarding back in
January, the same month he was linked to (and purportedly enjoyed a bump and grind from)
Johansson, his tongue-tangling co-star in his appropriately titled video, "What
Goes Around ... Comes Around."
Got all that?
According to Us Weekly, Justin, 26, turned up hand-in-hand with Jessica, 25,
at a pal's birthday shindig last week in Malibu, Calif., where the touchy-feely
twosome's digit-touching soon segued into mouth-to-mouth and mouth-to-neck
contact.
"If Jessica was talking to a group of girls," a spy recalls to the mag,
"Justin would come over, kiss her neck and start making out with her."
People, meanwhile, reports the "SexyBack" crooner and the callipygian starlet
also became amorous during a recent barbecue at his Los Angeles pad.
They were "hot and heavy," a Timberlake buddy tattles to the mag, with
another source declaring that Biel is "crazy about him."
That probably won't sit too well with ex Cameron Diaz, who just weeks after their January
split reportedly had a major blowout with Justin at Prince's Golden Globes bash after she saw him getting his
flirt on with Jessica.
But Timberlake, who shares voice-time with Diaz in the forthcoming "Shrek the Third," insists he still cares for his former flame
-- and has issued a warning to anyone who might consider dissing her.
"It's hard for me to talk about because we're talking about a person that I
love and respect and I would never ...," he carefully explains in the May issue
of British GQ. "If I hear anyone say anything bad about Cameron, then I'll have
something to say to them."
Justin is also playing up his good-guy persona when it comes to Britney Spears. While promoting "Shrek" last week in Los
Angeles, he told reporters he reached out and touched his onetime love following
her February rehab check-in.
"I called her because I worried about her," he says of the meltdown-disposed
mommy of two (via People). "She's a great woman. I'm rooting for her. [It] seems
like she's getting everything under control now."
Timberlake further worked his charms when answering questions about life as a
very eligible bachelor, quipping of playing the field, "The advantages are that
you don't get in as many arguments, and the disadvantage is that you're talking
to yourself."
