After months of rumors, Pink and Carey Hart have finally decided to pull the plug on their two-year-old marriage, but
they're doing their best to walk away from the relationship with their dignity
intact.
"I wanted to reach out personally to all my fans/friends out there in the
world," the ink-stained popster, 28, wrote on her blog Wednesday. "First and
foremost, thank you for all of your support and love, it means a lot to me right
now."

She then tries to head off speculation over the reasons behind her split from
the soul-patched, tattoo-covered motocross champ, whom she met in 2001 and
proposed to during a race in 2005.
"The most important thing for you all to know is that Carey and I love each
other so so much," insists the singer. "This breakup is not about cheating,
anger or fighting. I know it sounds like cliché bulls***, but we are best
friends, and we will continue to be."
Hart, 32, who in August dismissed tabloid rumors of his supposedly wandering
eye as "just a bunch of trash talk," seems to be just as keen on keeping things
amicable.
Sources close to the onetime "Surreal Life"
participant tell TMZ.com that he and Pink still love one another and blame the
bust-up on their busy schedules, with the singer working on a new album and Hart
pursuing nightclub ventures.
"All I know at this point is that I want to make the best album I can, and
Carey wants to do the best possible job he can with everything he has going on,"
says Pink, who, on the bright side, now has plenty of material to sing about.
"He is a good man, so please support him as well."
And she's not counting out the possibility that they could one day reunite.
"One never knows the future, but mine and Carey's just might involve beach
babies and sunshine one day," she wistfully envisions. "Just not right now.
Thanks for the concern and caring."
