Looks like Carrie Underwood hasn't yet had her fill of Chace Crawford's daintily side-swept bangs. People reports the carefully coiffed couple, who were rumored to be on the outs after the "Gossip Girl" eye candy supposedly enjoyed some offscreen smooching with his co-star Leighton Meester (a charge she denied), put on a very public display of affection Thursday night as they celebrated the fourth anniversary of New York hot spot Marquee. Crawford, quaffing decidedly down-to-earth bottles of Bud Light, cuddled up to Underwood in one of the club's banquettes before they decided to hit the dance floor. The music must have moved the button-cute if weedy country warbler, who tossed her arms around the actor's neck as they grooved "suggestively," says the mag. But not everyone was impressed. "They were high-stepping and cavorting ... it wasn't pretty," a bystander snipes to the New York Daily News. "After five minutes, they sat down, thankfully." After taking in an Oompa-Loompa-starring floor show (unlike last week's scary incident, no little people were harmed during the evening's entertainment), Carrie and Chace got in a bit more quality cuddling before exiting the club together around 2 a.m. The scene was much the same the following night at a bowling bash following the annual Y100 Jingle Ball. According to People, the blond crooner, who first stepped out with Crawford in October, played tonsil hockey with him in between knocking down pins.

In other PDA news, Pacey and Joey may be ancient history, but he still has a way with the ladies. The New York Daily News reports Joshua Jackson "made out ferociously all night" with girlfriend Diane Kruger at the post-Jingle Ball bowling shindig. The pair, who had just attended the premiere of the actress' forthcoming flick "National Treasure: Book of Secrets," did come up for air long enough to try to breathe in some carcinogens. "They were told to go outside to smoke," a snitch tells the paper, which adds that Josh and Diane were the last big names to exit the soiree, calling it a night around 3:45 a.m.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz got their schmoopiness on from courtside seats at Saturday's New York Knicks game at Madison Square Garden. The now generically pretty popster and the hoodie-addicted Fall Out Boy bassist kissed, snuggled and posed with fans as the Knicks defeated the New Jersey Nets.

Here's a scene you won't find in the typical Hugh Grant romantic comedy: The leading man makes out with a dewy beauty while his pal paws her leg. But the Daily Mirror claims that ooky scenario played out last week at a tony London restaurant as the coed-socializing star polished the tonsils of a young woman as his friend, director John Duigan, rubbed her thigh. "It was disgusting. Hugh and the girl were completely going for it," a "shocked eyewitness" huffs to the paper. "They sat on the sofa next to us with the girl in the middle. Soon, Hugh started snogging her full-on. Meanwhile the other guy was touching the girl's thigh. It was like Hugh accepted it." But Duigan insists the incident has been blown out of proportion, downplaying to the paper, "It was just people having fun in a bar." Grant, 47, however, apparently doesn't feel so free and easy about the seemingly steamy night out. When a reporter rang the intercom of his London home to ask him about it, the crankypants actor gently suggested the journalist should "[bleep] off."
