Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale is saddled with a name that will make recess a challenge in the coming years, but fortunately, his adorableness more than makes up for his oddball moniker. On Wednesday, Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale debuted their 2-month-old son, not only venturing out with him but also releasing his first official baby picture. For the public unveiling, paparazzi snapped the family as they popped by the Beverly Hills Public Library, where Zuma was reportedly getting his passport. Later in the day (and likely in response to the pap pics), the proud parents posted a snuggly snapshot of the ankle-biter on No Doubt's Web site. "We wanted to share with you the first photo of Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale," reads the message.

"Gwen, Gavin, Kingston and Zuma are all doing well and enjoying being a party of four." Kingston, by the by, has adjusted -- for the most part -- to being a big brother. "It's like, here is this guy, and he's not leaving. He is getting used to that," Gavin tells People of the sibling dynamic. "Obviously, there are moments that he's bugged out that someone is in his spot with his mom." But Kingston, 2, definitely didn't look bugged on Tuesday, when he held on tightly to Ruby Sweetheart, the apple-cheeked offspring of Tobey Maguire and Jennifer Meyer, as they took a ride in a little red wagon as shutterbugs captured the ridiculously cute moment for posterity.

Meanwhile, Nicole Kidman remains in lioness mode when it comes to shielding 3-month-old daughter Sunday Rose from the flashbulbs. Mrs. Keith Urban tells Parade she's developed "whatever that primal thing is, the need and desire to keep her very protected." Which means no pictures, although a few have surfaced. "People say, 'Oh, it would be so much easier if you'd just let them get a photo of her.' And I can't," she explains. "I'm like, 'I don't want to. I want her to stay out of that.' Maybe that will wane as she gets bigger, and I'll be easier with it. But for now, I'm still keeping her in a bubble." And it seems Sunday's arrival has turned Nicole into a big ol' pile of mush, because just talking about her tot makes her eyes well up. "I'm raw and emotional," admits the smooth-faced Oscar winner. "I cry even thinking of her. But they are tears of joy. Because I suppose I never thought I would get to have it. To have been given it so late in life -- I'm so ready for it. And I think giving birth to a child, as a woman, is what we're born to do. I don't mean that to sound sexist, because many women don't get to do it, and I thought I was one of them. But at the same time, if you are given that gift, it's an extraordinary thing." There's also a "bittersweet" feeling, Kidman acknowledges, "because, at 41, I think, 'I want to see her 21st birthday, and I want to see her get married.' My relationship with death used to be far more ambivalent, I think, and now it's very much about staying in the world." (The actress is also mom to Bella, 15, and Connor, 13, whom she adopted with ex-husband Tom Cruise, and while she confirms they were raised as Scientologists, she tells the magazine, "I just don't talk about it.") Kidman points out that Sunday looks a lot like her country-crooning dad, a resemblance she's grateful for. "I'm glad," she kvells, "because when he goes on tour, I say to him that he leaves a little bit of him with me."

Some celebrity moms drop the baby weight in the blink of an eye (see the aforementioned Kidman, who was back to her svelte self mere days after Sunday's birth), and it turns out such insta-slimdowns don't just annoy regular moms. Tori Spelling, who delivered daughter Stella in June, admits her attempts at waistline whittling were made that much more frustrating by one particular star. "I would look at pictures of myself and compare them to Jessica Alba, who had her baby two days before me," she fesses up to In Touch. "I'd see photos of her two months after and go, 'Look at her!'" But you'll be relieved to know that Tori has overcome her Alba envy and is shedding the pounds with the help of husband Dean McDermott and 19-month-old son Liam. "The best way to lose weight is to make it a family affair," she advises. "It has changed my life." Spelling also encourages other new moms to lose the baby baggage at their own pace. "If you get obsessed," she says, "you'll miss out on great moments with your children."

Celine Dion is holding open a "small window of hope" that she will be able to have a second child with husband René Angélil. "I would love to be blessed again," the chanteuse, 40, told Oprah this week. "Hopefully we are pregnant and are parents again. If not, that's fine. That's fine. We have a beautiful child." That would be flowing-locked son René-Charles, whom Dion gave birth to in January 2001 after five years of fertility treatments. According to the singer, the tyke's trademark cascading coif has never been cut -- and won't be until he gives the go-ahead. "I've asked him many times, 'Do you want me to trim your hair?' And he says, 'No, Mom, I like my hair like that.' We've talked about it many, many times," she explained, adding, "I prefer that he has long hair, he's succeeding in school, he's doing well, he's a great human being, he's adaptable ... than to have a kid with short hair who's selfish and a brat and he's not happy."

And finally, you know all those idealized images of celebrity parenthood projected week after week in the tabloids? Lil Wayne, who welcomed son Dwayne Michael Carter III last week in Cincinnati, would like to offer a counterpoint. "I delivered him. I held the left leg the whole time," the rapper revealed backstage at a concert Tuesday night (via People). "It was nasty, very nasty, but it was wonderful." Wayne, 26, says the newborn is the "best thing to ever happen to me, next to my daughter," referring to 8-year-old Reginae (mom is ex-wife Antonia "Toya" Johnson). The identity of Dwayne III's mother remains under wraps.
