We never pegged Madonna for much of a Corey Hart fan, but she was all about wearing her sunglasses at night Tuesday in London. Snappers captured the buttery but black-rooted blond Big M leaving swanky Claridge's Hotel around 1 a.m. sporting what appeared to be a shiner under her shades and a bruise on her cheek. While the London Daily Mail believes the boo-boos may indicate the well-preserved pop icon has undergone a bit of freshening, "Extra" says she injured herself by walking into a refrigerator door. Madonna's rep is mum on the markings.

For Kathleen Turner, the most difficult part of filming 1986's "Peggy Sue Got Married" wasn't about convincingly playing a high school student despite being in her 30s. In her new autobiography, "Send Yourself Roses," she huffs that co-star Nicolas Cage "left a lot to be desired." The problem, she says, was that his uncle, Francis Ford Coppola, was the director. "Everything Francis wanted him to do, he went against to show that he wasn't under his uncle's wing. Which was ridiculous," she writes. "Oh, that stupid voice of his and the fake teeth! Honestly, I cringe to think about it." (In Cage's defense, his nasal squeak and enormous chompers were no less plausible than the rest of the flick, but moving on ...) According to Turner, "He caused so many problems. He was arrested twice for drunk-driving and, I think, once for stealing a dog. He'd come across a Chihuahua he liked and stuck it in his jacket." But Cage says that nothing of the criminal sort (canine or otherwise) ever happened. "While I recall Kathleen Turner being a great lady and wonderful actress, the credibility of her biography and her memory is at stake," he tells the New York Post through his rep. "Fact credibility should have been exercised on [her] part."

Don't expect Reese Witherspoon to slip on some frilly lingerie and strike a pose for the cover of a Maxim-style magazine the next time she has a project to promote. "If [actresses] take their clothes off, they objectify themselves," the Oscar winner-cum-Jake Gyllenhaal squeeze declares to Glamour UK (via Us) of risqué photo shoots. "I am flabbergasted by how many legitimate actresses do it." Says Reese, who is a hands-on mom to Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4, "I am a role model for my children." Hollywood, she adds, "is one of those endless competitions. It's a race towards nothing." Witherspoon's end game is far more personal: "I just want to be the best version of myself that I can be."

Beyoncé's much-maligned performance with country outfit Sugarland at the American Music Awards apparently hasn't dampened her enthusiasm for duets. People reports the chanteuse will belt out a number with Tina Turner at the Grammys on Feb. 10. Here's hoping they choose "Proud Mary" or "What's Love Got to Do With It" instead of, say, "Bootylicious."
