The music: Sure, Bonnaroo is famous for its laid-back vibe,
victimless crimes and each year's bumper crop of jam bands, but this rural bash
held on a Tennessee farm has evolved into a multileveled celebration of music,
comedy, film and visual arts. The concert programming meanwhile cheerfully leaps
across generations and genres: Where else will you find Metallica's arena-scale
shred alongside Iron & Wine's hypnotic whisper? Add in rap, world music and
comedic draws from Chris Rock to David Cross, and Bonnaroo is a laughing matter
