The music: Located in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park,
Outside Lands features several headliners whose names say it all: Radiohead, Tom
Petty and Beck. However, what makes this festival unique is the variety of
supporting acts. There's the psychedelic freak-folk of Devendra Banhart, the
Sabbath stoner rock of Black Mountain, Regina Spektor's new-wave torch-song
stylings and M. Ward's intense acoustic balladry. To top it off, Primus will be
there, freaking people out as only they know how.
