The Jackson Hole Festival skews towards the rootsier side of popular music. Ben
Harper entertains with his loose-limbed fusion of R&B, folk, and rock, Son
Volt bring their straight-up alt-country sound, and Medeski Martin & Wood
bring their fascinating experiments in jazzy soul. Topping this stellar cast are
Wilco and Brian Wilson, who together could probably fill the venue with little
effort. In addition to the music, the festival features an extensive selection
of artisans selling their work, showing off the rich crafting traditions of this
beautiful mountain town.
