The music: Now in its fifth year, Rock the Bells is the
great hip hop traveling show, featuring a stunning array of talent, both new and
established, which spans the vast breadth of the rap spectrum. This time around,
you can catch the legendary grooves of A Tribe Called Quest alongside superstars
such as Nas and Method Man, as well as the return of The Pharcyde, whose raunchy
yet playful Bizarre Ride to the Pharcyde, from 1992, may very well be the finest
marriage of hip hop and humor. In addition, the festival sports events such as a
turntable exhibition, and promised but unconfirmed surprise performances.
