| 50 Years of Memorable Moments |
Artists and albums have come and gone. Trends and cycles have passed
(although most return within a couple decades with a fresh coat of makeup and a
few technical tweaks). We've seen upsets, obvious wins, heartaching renditions
of old standbys and (some say) groundbreaking musical performances. But we
haven't seen the good ol' trophy change much -- that is, the actual Grammy
Award itself. Here we pay quick tribute to some of the milestone acheivements
and erroneous events (including Most Egg on Face Ever for the whole Milli
Vanilli debacle) that have made the Grammy Awards ceremony worth watching
