Biography: Barney Rachabane was one of the few musicians to remain active during the decline of South African jazz, in the 1970s and '80s. In addition to leading his own group, Rachabane collaborated on a series of Technobush recordings with Hugh Masakela and recorded and toured with Paul Simon.
