Macklemore & Ryan Lewis to stage multi-wedding ceremony at the Grammys

Over 30 couples will wed on-air during Macklemore & Ryan Lewis' performance of Same Love at the Grammy Awards on Sunday night. Queen Latifah will act as officiant during the televised ceremony as the duo perform the marriage-equality anthem with Madonna at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

According to the New York Times, 34 gay, straight and interracial couples - including Lewis' sister and her boyfriend - will exchange vows. Defending the multi-marriage stunt from critics who are already beginning to voice their opinions about the Grammy weddings ceremony, National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences president Neil Portnoy says, "I expect that people with all kinds of opinions might voice them, and that s healthy, but we don t need to stoop to the level of trying to find gimmicks and sensationalistic approaches to what we do."

It looks set to be an amazing night for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - as well as staging the weddings ceremony and performing with Madonna, the duo is also up for seven awards.

I won't be watching any weddings tonight.  Why would I want to watch people getting married that I don't even know?  This is how arrogant the Gay Radicals are....they think this is a BIG EVENT.

They never should have hijacked the Christian Institution of marriage, ordained by God, between a man and a woman.  They should have pushed for Civil Unions instead which would actually be a more accurate and realistic separation of church and state.  It is the taking of a Christian "term" that has created such a heated backlash.  Why did they do that?

WAS going to watch.....Now.....not only NO...but HELL NO, never again

The Grammy's have DEvolved into a ludicrous venue for immorality and (IMO) sexual perversion so...I'll not be watching ever again

These queers need to go back into the closet. No one wants to see them in public or on tv. Why would anyone want their children to be exposed to this. It is sick, it allways has been and allways will be.
