Adele has employed the talents of Phil Collins as she completes work on a follow-up to hit album "21," according to the former Genesis star.
Collins tells Inside South Florida he had no idea who the "Rolling in the Deep" singer was when he first heard she wanted to work with him, but he agreed to join her in the studio after hearing her voice.
Collins says, "I've just started to work with Adele. She contacted me to write together. I wasn't actually too aware (of her). I live in a cave.
"She's achieved an incredible amount and I really love her voice and I love some of that stuff she's done. So, to me, it's always an eye-opener. Educational."
Reports suggest Adele has been recording new material since last April, after stepping out of the spotlight to become a mom.
Adele has real class and a voice that you just want more of.
She is the most classy woman singer out in a long time.
Girls pay attention !
I have always loved Phil Collins' music and I absolutely love Adele's. She's working with one of the BEST in the industry! What a great collaboration and privilege for her as a newer, young artist to have this experience. Can't wait to hear the new material once it's out!
I know he's kind of in hiding right now and has been for years but I think it would also be an honor to collaborate with Steve Perry.
