Michael Coppel, president of Live Nation Australasia, says, "I've been fortunate enough to have worked with Beyonce since the first Destiny's Child tour in 2000, but this tour has been an absolute standout in terms of the showcasing her unparalleled talent, energy and joy for performing in one of the most spectacular productions ever to visit this country."
Australia is proving a profitable territory for touring superstars. Pink also netted $37 million from her shows there earlier this year, while Bruce Springsteen made $23 million from his Wrecking Ball jaunt.
