Katy Perry's album deemed biohazard in Australia

Katy Perry's latest album "Prism" has been declared a biohazard in Australia due to the small packets of seeds included with the record.

The singer's newest album may have debuted at number one in Australia, but it also proved to be a risk for the country's citizens. According to news.com.au, the deluxe version of Perry's album, which is produced overseas and imported into Australia, contains a small packet of seeds, which the Department of Agriculture deemed as a potential biosecurity concern, since there are strict laws in place to assess the risks of any plant materials not originating in the country.

A spokesperson for the Department of Agriculture tells the news site that if an international version of the album is discovered, a biosecurity officer will have to inspect the record and assess the level of risk, and it may be confiscated by Australian border control officials.

The local version of the record, which is produced in Australia, contains seeds from the western part of the country and is considered harmless. Perry included the seeds with her album to encourage fans to "plant to spread the light!" she wrote on Twitter.

This is so superficial. The new government of Australia are about to embark on digging a trench through the Great Barrier Reef.  In the process, they intend to dump millions of tons of mud on the surrounding Reef.    What for ?  to build a deep port and export coal to China.   Not only that, they are in the process of revoking the climate controls for C02 brought in by the previous government.

Enjoy what there is of Australia now before it becomes just another rubbish tip.

I love Katy Perry.  She is an inspirational writer and singer.  My daughters and I yell out her lyrics and feel empowered and happy from the words.  She is always kind and works very hard.

LOL yall killing me with these comments lol. But we should also remember that most artistes or at least many of them do not write their own songs. In this case, I have no idea if Katy wrote or contributed to the songs/music on the album.
