Varg Vikernes court case postponed
Rocker Varg Vikernes' court case over allegations of inciting racial hatred has been postponed after his lawyer requested more time to prepare his defence. The Burzum frontman was detained in Salon-La-Tour, France over allegations that he was planning a massacre in July (13), but he was released days later after officers failed to produce sufficient evidence. He was then charged with inciting racial hatred over alleged online comments he made against Muslims and Jews, but his case will not be heard until next year (14). On Thursday (17Oct13), officials at a court in Paris, France adjourned the rocker's hearing after his lawyer requested more time to review a large file drawn up by the country's counter terrorism agency, DCRI. Vikernes is now set to face trial in June (14).
