Stuffed armadillo toy taken from Willie Nelson's band was returned

PORT CHESTER, N.Y. (AP) -- A theater manager says a stuffed armadillo that was stolen from Willie Nelson's band after a show in suburban New York has been returned unharmed.

He says the band isn't pressing charges.

Bing: Willie Nelson cancels tour dates due to injury

The toy critter, known to the band as Ol' Dillo, disappeared after a Sept. 19 concert at the Capitol Theatre in Port Chester. Bailey says the armadillo was a treasured possession of Nelson's monitor engineer, Aaron Foye.

Video shows a woman snatching it away. General manager Tom Bailey says a different woman brought the armadillo to the box office Friday in a sealed box. She did not identify herself.

Bailey says theater staffers believe they know who stole the armadillo, but he says Nelson's road manager said Foye would not press charges.

How flipping off base can an MSN headline/article get??  The taxidermy armadillo, was not Willie's, and it is NOT a toy!  How idiotic can you get?  Do you really think it sold more papers and ad space to call it Willie's toy?  Morons at MSN.

Yet again another misleading headline from the pros at wasn't Willie's toy at all, was it?

The third paragraph of the article, Sharon, indicates a Woman, a She, stole the stuffed animal. Not a He as you so indicate! Another She brought it back. Two she's in a pod?

when I read the headline to this story I thought the "toy" in question would be a bong or some other marajuana smoking aparatus, I was a bit dissapointed, lol ...

Its not a stuffed toy, it is a figure that resembles a real armadillo.  The fact of the matter is that it belongs to Aaron & not anyone else!  He sets it on monitor board during every show. It is their mascot. The person who stole it is an idiot not to mention a THIEF! He obviously didn't appreciate the fact that he was very fortunate to be backstage during the Willie Nelson concert. You can bet he will not get that privilege again. Its his kind that screw things up for the rest of us who are respectful of other people & their belongings. I hope he doesn't have children because he is not setting a good example at all.  Didn't your parents teach you not to take things that don't belong to you??As for the woman who returned it, you obviously were involved or you wouldn't have been so secretive with your identity. I guarantee you their faces will not be forgotten by the crew. No more backstage for y'all!!
