The singer headlined the opening night of the event in Chelmsford, England, but she got off to a bad start by taking to the stage 20 minutes late, leaving the crowd standing in the wet and windy conditions.

A chorus of boos and jeers rang out through the site before Beyonce finally started her set with her track "Run the World (Girls)."

She later thanked fans for waiting in the wet conditions, telling the crowd, "Thank you all so much for waiting in the rain... Now let's have some fun in the rain. It feels good doesn't it."

Beyoncé headlines the second night of the festival at its sister site in Stafford, England, on Sunday night.

I AM SO SICK of Beyonce and her overglorified status.  I would've booed her @$$ off too for the lateness.

She said the rain feels good doesn't it?  Oh please, she wasn't in the rain. She was protected by overhang.

Goody for her. Famous people forget where they come from. Customer service is vital even when you are famous. You NEVER forget your fans/customer after you have made it famous. If I had become famous because of people buying my products or listening to me sing, I would be considerate and show up on time to perform. I don’t even like coming to work late it is just common courtesy for the other person. I do not attend concerts, I have no patient for the lack of crowd control and seating issues but I am sure there are some posters that attend such events and I bet you guys spend a lot of money to watch your favorite artist perform. It is simply common courtesy to show up on time for folks like you. That’s my take on it.  BTW.... I am not a fan of Beyonce, but "Beyonce" it is unfair to treat your fans like nobody's.
