Bosses at Gawker published a transcript of a conversation West reportedly had with friends at the Corner Bistro in New York a short time after the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, where he infamously interrupted Taylor Swift's acceptance speech when she won Best Female Video over his pal Beyoncé.
In the recording, released on Thursday, a man purported to be West also took aim at Pink, who performed during the ceremony, saying, "What the f--- was Pink performing? Don't nobody know that song. Pink performed twice! Two songs? How the f--- Pink perform two songs and I didn't even get asked to perform 'Heartless.' 'Heartless' is the biggest song of the year! It had the most spins of the first quarter! I don't know that Pink song! But I know that she's Pink!"
The leaked recording has sparked controversy among fans online, but Pink has now spoken out to insist there is no bad blood between the pair, despite the rapper's comments, and has urged her followers to quit harassing West over his criticism of the star's music.
Taking to Twitter on Friday, she writes, "Oh come on y'all... If people secretly recorded me and all the s--- I talk.... It's all good. All love. And we all still here. Peace please".
