Rapper Azealia Banks is already making plans to give up hip-hop so she can try singing jazz -- at least when she's older.
The "212" singer has found fame with her explicit rap tracks, but the 22-year-old star will attempt to carve out a career as a more mellow singer/songwriter.
She tells Russian TV show "Prime Time Russia," "I don't like to jump the gun, but I definitely am interested in doing some sort of jazz at some point. I just see myself ... when I'm an older woman, I don't think I'll be trying to make pop music or urban music or young music. I see myself sitting at a piano writing songs."
Banks admits she is looking forward to drawing inspiration from motherhood, adding, "I feel like it's all gonna come from maturity and life and growing as an adult. I'm sure I'll have some other love affair that'll inspire me to write some other stuff, I'm sure one day I'll have a kid and that'll inspire me."
