Reports suggest the band will be tethered to the landmark as part of Sub Pop's anniversary celebrations this week.

Sub Pop is also planning to stage a free festival in the city on July 13, which will feature performances from J. Mascis and Built To Spill. As well as the above-named acts, Sub Pop's roster has included Nirvana, Fugazi and Afghan Whigs.

While Fugazi did release a single on Sub Pop years & years ago, you'd have a hard time finding anyone outside of this article's author who would call them a Sub Pop band. They're Discord through & through. Do your research.

Fugazi were NEVER signed to Sub Pop. They released a single through their club, but were never an official Sub Pop band.

Got the title wrong, Darth. And what exactly IS rock to you? You've clearly never heard them; they're about as rocking as humans get before they combust. You're just whining that their not famous enough for you.

Otherwise, we're talking about a Seattle musical institution rocking atop a Seattle landmark. Perfect.
