Grunge rock godfathers Mudhoney will perform on top of Seattle's Space Needle to mark their record label's 25th birthday.
Reports suggest the band will be tethered to the landmark as part of Sub Pop's anniversary celebrations this week.
Sub Pop is also planning to stage a free festival in the city on July 13, which will feature performances from J. Mascis and Built To Spill. As well as the above-named acts, Sub Pop's roster has included Nirvana, Fugazi and Afghan Whigs.
Otherwise, we're talking about a Seattle musical institution rocking atop a Seattle landmark. Perfect.
