Jackson's son, relatives to testify at trial

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A lawyer for Michael Jackson's mother says the entertainer's oldest son Prince will testify in the family's negligence case against concert promoter AEG Live LLC.

Attorney Brian Panish expects the 16-year-old to take the witness stand on Wednesday, becoming the first of three Jackson family members to testify.

Panish also wants to call TJ Jackson, the co-guardian of Jackson's three children, and TJ's brother Taj.

Prince Jackson is listed as a plaintiff in the case filed by his grandmother against AEG Live. The lawsuit claims AEG negligently hired the doctor who was later convicted of involuntary manslaughter for giving Jackson an overdose of the anesthetic propofol.

AEG denies wrongdoing and says it did not hire the doctor.

Doing anything to stay in the public eye - no matter how trivial it is.  Nothing but a bunch of money grabbers.  Michael had a serious addiction and nothing could/would have prevented someone from killing  him with his selfish request for illegal drugs,  Sad what money can buy - even death. Dragging the kids into this is out of line.

The Jackson family needs to own up in at least 2 ways:  They created some of Michael's issues by using him as their cash-cow when he was young, and they need to own up to the fact that Michael made bad choices.

Geez Louise! The Jackson family needs to get over it. Bunch of greedy, self indulgent jerks.

MJ fired several people for not giving him that drug. He knew what he was putting in his body was 1 illegal and 2 bad for you. Should the Dr have given him it? No but when you shop around for a Dr. to give you illegal drugs you can find them. If they win then any drug pusher can be sued by family members if they overdose.
