Carrie Underwood's parents refuse new home offers

Carrie Underwood's parents refuse to let their daughter spoil them with her millions and have repeatedly turned down her offer to buy them a new house.

The "Jesus Takes The Wheel" singer, who shot to fame after winning "American Idol" in 2005, admits her mom Carole and father Steve prefer to live the simple life and are quite content staying in the modest Checotah, Okla., home where she was raised.

And her dad even scolded her one Christmas when Underwood -- who is reportedly worth an estimated $45 million --offered them a $400  generator as a gift.

She tells Marie Claire magazine, "My parents are really great people who want nothing to do with any of this (fame and fortune)."

This is wonderful news. Beyoncé's parents have divorced; Brandy's parents have divorced and who else? They obviously don't want to live off their daughter and she should be happy. Put the money in an emergency fund for them and let them decide who should have it if they never have to use it. I have told my daughters the same thing. I live in my dream home; I have a good job that has supported them and now they both have college degrees. I drive a Lexus and I am living the American dream. What do I want now? Good health and great looks...!

HER parents aren't greedy MF'ers like most celeb's parents probably are. Good for them.
