The Sooner State native and current Tishomingo, Okla., resident has organized the "Healing in the Heartland: Relief Benefit Concert," an event to raise money for the victims of the recent devastating tornadoes that ripped through the state.
And Shelton has recruited his friend and R&B singer Usher for the concert, which will take place on Wednesday in Oklahoma City.
The concert, which also features country superstars including Shelton's wife Miranda Lambert, Reba McEntire, Vince Gill, Luke Bryan and Rascal Flatts, will be televised live on NBC, as well as its affiliated cable networks, Style, G4, Bravo, E! and CMT.
This isn't the first time Shelton has used his star power to support his home state -- he and Reba headlined two sold-out Tornado Relief Concerts for victims of the Atoka County tornadoes in 2011, raising $500,000.
