Courtney Love says guarding Nirvana music catalog is a 'curse'

Courtney Love is beginning to curse the day she became the guardian of her late husband Kurt Cobain's Nirvana catalog because it has become a big anchor in her life.

The rocker admits it's a constant struggle to keep the tragic star's music from grasping opportunists who would like to use the music in films and commercials.

She tells Bust magazine, "The Nirvana stuff is f**king cursed in my opinion... Somebody has to guard the gates of this thing, because you know what would happen? The second I sell (the rights), it becomes a jukebox musical, makes a billion dollars, and you've got jazz hands on Broadway. Or he'll be in Gatorade commercials.

"I will never sell the f**king stakes I have in it, because no one else will bother protecting him."

But that doesn't mean she wants the job of being Nirvana guardian for life. Love adds, "Some days I look at my passport and I'm like, 'Can I just leave?' Because it's so much pressure."

Probably shouldn't have had Cobain murdered then. He wasn't shot once, he was shot twice. I don't care who you are -  after blowing half your face off with a shotgun one does not simply crawl around on the floor, find the gun, and deliver a second self-inflicted gunshot to the head.

I know Grohl would hate me for saying this but I enjoy the Foo Fighters' music far more than Nirvana's.  As for Miss Love, go put your band back together and try to write a few more songs.  It would at least give you something else to do.

What a vulgar, classless broad. The F-bomb? She can't speak without using that?

Sell it for a billon and move on.  I would like to know how much it is making her.
