Nine Inch Nails announce replacement for bassist Eric Avery
WENN

Trent Reznor has been quick to replace departing bassist Eric Avery in Nine Inch Nails - his longtime collaborator Robin Finck is to join the band.

Reznor announced the news on the band's Tumblr page on Friday.

Avery quit the band earlier this week, saying Nine Inch Nail's upcoming schedule had overwhelmed him and he was taking a break to concentrate on other projects in Los Angeles.

Finck, who last worked with the band in 2009, will join Reznor and his new-look Nine Inch Nails when they kick off their world tour at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan in July .
