Cher's mom makes debut on Billboard charts

Cher's mother can now boast her own singing success after her debut album entered the Billboard charts.

The singer's mother, 86-year-old Georgia Holt, recorded her first studio album in 1980 with members of Elvis Presley's band, but it took her decades to finally release it. "Honky Tonk Woman" debuted this week at No. 13 on the Heatseekers Albums countdown and at No. 43 on the Top Country Albums list.

Cher could use some lessons from mom on growing old gracefully and with dignity.  She is a beautiful lady...never knew she was a singer.  Wish her well.

The lady was a good singer in her time and that's why Cher got her talent. Her mother still can sing, but it is a little unfirm because of age. Still good looking though......
