Kelly Clarkson to release Christmas album

WENN

Kelly Clarkson is slated to release her first Christmas album later this year.

Since becoming the inaugural "American Idol" champion in 2002, Clarkson has released five studio albums which have all gone platinum, and now she's hoping to find similar success with the release of her very first holiday-themed record.

In a recent interview with CMT Radio, she revealed the news of the upcoming album and admitted, "It's probably my favorite album I've ever made. It's so good."

Clarkson is collaborating with acclaimed producer Greg Kurstin, who also produced her Grammy-winning album "Stronger," as well as country music legend Ronnie Dunn.

Clarkson is no stranger to recording holiday tracks, just last year, she sang a duet with Blake Shelton for his "Cheers, It's Christmas" album, and she also appeared on his holiday TV special.

Kelly is an excellent performer. I'm certain that her Christmas Album will skyrocket as quickly as all her other hits.

For those with unkind remarks, compliments take less oxygen than criticism.

Have you checked your own self-image lately?
