Young Vito not guilty of Slim Dunkin murder, sentenced to 25 years on separate charges

Rapper Young Vito has been found not guilty of the murder of hip-hop star
Slim Dunkin. Young Vito, real name Vinson Hardimon, was accused of fatally
shooting the up-and-coming star during a heated altercation in a recording
studio on 16 December, 2011. He was officially charged with murder, aggravated
assault and possession of a firearm after turning himself in to cops days after
the incident. Hardimon was found not guilty of murder in court in Georgia on
Monday (25Feb13), but he was convicted of the aggravated assault and possession
of a firearm charges. Fulton County Superior Court Judge Craig Schwall handed
the 30 year old the maximum sentence of 25 years behind bars.
