Keith Urban and Vince Gill have enlisted country singers Trace Adkins, Roseanne Cash and Tim McGraw for a star-studded fundraiser concert benefiting the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Willie Nelson and Hank Williams Jr. will also hit the stage for Urban and Gill's We're All for the Hall show at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., on April 16. Money raised from the event will go to support preservation efforts and exhibitions at the museum.

In a statement, museum director Kyle Young says, "The first three We're All for the Hall concerts raised approximately $1.5 million. Those dollars go toward our operating expenses, directly funding the care of our collection, exhibitions, programs and more. We are beyond grateful to Keith Urban and Vince Gill. They are two of country music's greatest stewards and ambassadors, and we are honored by what they have done for this institution. I'm certain that this year's We're All for the Hall show will not only be an important source of revenue for the museum, but a once-in-a-lifetime, only-in-Nashville concert for everyone lucky enough to attend."
Brantley Gilbert, Kid Rock, Kris Kristofferson, Loretta Lynn and Montgomery Gentry are also included in the event's all-star lineup.
Uhhh, the article stated that $1.5 million was raised from the first three concerts, not $71.6 million.
I do agree with you that most of what is being played over and over (and OVER...) on "Country" radio is not REAL country, but we've been here before. Real country will one day come back, just the way Ricky Skaggs and George Strait brought it back in the early 80's
