Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has taken aim at the band's former accountant for detailing the rockers' income and spending habits in a new book.

Prince Rupert Loewenstein, who spent nearly 40 years as the group's trusted financial adviser, has written about his work with the musicians in a new memoir called "A Prince Among Stones."
In the book, he reveals how the rockers became tax exiles in France in a bid to protect their fortune and details a bitter feud between the band and a former manager.
He even writes about Jagger's high-profile divorce from his wife Bianca, and
described his role as "combination of bank manager, psychiatrist and
nanny."
However, Jagger has issued a scathing criticism of his former
colleague, insisting he should have kept quiet. He tells Britain's Mail on
Sunday newspaper, "Call me old fashioned, but I don't think your ex-bank manager
should be discussing your financial dealings and personal information in public.
It just goes to show that well brought-up people don't always display good
manners."
Dear Keith Richards (who responded to me) OR Mick Jagger who logged on over and over and gave me 20 thumbs down (OK, just kidding, I know I am NOT that important.) What personal problem do I have with Jagger or Richards. None. Why do I put my opinion out there? Did you? Why do I even have an opinion about them or the book? Anybody who puts themselves out there as a publc figure: politician, soical activitst, artist, is legitimately open to public scrutiny. Nobody cares about Mr. or Mrs. averge Joe and what they do, what they think, or how they live UNLESS you personally know them in some way. But public figures are open to scrutiny. It's not that I think either of these people did anything intentionally bad to anyone except maybe people close to them, like Mick cheating on his wifves, and to me, that's a personal matter between them, or maybe the rift they had with Jonees before he died, but that's also a personal matter between artists, or who knows who else they deal with on a professional leve. But the other side is I have never heard of anything good they have really done considering their wealth, their fame, their status. Maybe they have. I am not a groupie nor do I follow the newstainment industry. I responded to a story about their accountant writing a book and Jagger's response of how well educated or well brought up people could be devoid of moral or ethical judgement. He's right. It applies to his accountant and it applies to him. No one is perfect. He's mad and I don't balme him. But he is no shining star. By the way, I was just kidding when I called Richards "walking death." I acutallly stole that from a 20 year old Saturday Night Live skit with two people playing Frank Sinatra and Keith Richards. I thougt it was hilarious. Do you watch Saturday Night Live? If you do, they make fun of everybody. If you don't, maybe you should and relax a little.
