The singer revealed on "Good Morning America" that she has lost the passion for her craft and was planning to retire from the industry, revealing her "heart isn't in it anymore." However, Braxton insists it's just the recording studio she's going to stay away from, because she isn't interested in recording new music. She explains, "I'll have to do shows here and there, but I'm not gonna do any albums ... I'm falling out of love with it, it's weird ... I've been trying to listen to songs; record companies have been calling me, so it's a good situation to be in, but I'm not really interested at all."
Braxton's last studio album, "Pulse," was released in 2010. She has since been focusing her time and energy on her family reality show and her new TV movie, "Twist of Faith."
I knew TonI Braxton and her family. We grew up not too far from one another. She was not some artist crafted by a music executive. She is a true talent who can play the heck out of a piano, sing with deep passion, and speak gracefully in front of a camera. She represented well whenever she spoke. What some people would rather see and hear is an ignorant voice from our people. THANK YOU TONI. Thanks for the great music. Thanks for the classy style. Thanks for bearing your soul to the world. I really hope you change your mind someday and record again. Please disregard the negative comments from some of the bloggers who suffer from deep rooted envy. You're a star.........
