NEW YORK (AP) -- Elton John and Mumford & Sons will hit the stage at the Grammys for a tribute to Levon Helm.
The Recording Academy announced Thursday that T Bone Burnett, Mavis Staples, Zac Brown and Brittany Howard of Alabama Shakes will also perform "The Weight" at Sunday's awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
Bing: Other Grammy performers
Helm was the drummer and singer for the Band. He died of complications from cancer last year at age 71.
The performers will sing the song during the show's In Memoriam tribute, which honors musicians who died last year. Grammy Awards producer Ken Ehrlich said the lineup of performers is a representation of Helm's diverse sound.
To music fan 34
I was watching "Austin City Limits" and she was on the show with a bunch of singers and they did a tribute to him on the show. She blew the other singers away. (The other singers were old burn outs) I had no clue who she was looked her up. She not bad. Check it out I think you will be pleasantly surprised.
