Tony Parker cites Chris Brown's Frank Ocean clash in lawsuit
Sports star Tony Parker is preparing to use Chris Brown's alleged brawl with Frank Ocean last month (Jan13) as 'proof' of the singer's volatile temper in a bid to win his lawsuit against the owners of a New York nightclub. The basketball player filed a $20 million (£12.7 million) suit against bosses at Entertainment Enterprises, Ltd., who own Manhattan hotspot W.i.P., after he was allegedly injured during a clash between Brown and fellow hip-hop star Drake's entourages last year (12). Parker insists the venue's bosses should have been aware of the "bad blood" between Drake and Brown and not let them both into the club at the same time. Now Parker has filed new documents in his ongoing lawsuit, claiming Brown's alleged fight with Ocean, sparked over a parking space at a Los Angeles recording studio, is proof the R&B star has a hair-trigger temper. The documents, obtained by editors at, also allege Brown's violent nature surfaced long before, when he brutally beat Rihanna on the eve of the Grammys in 2009. Parker claims both incidents support his allegation that Brown should not have been allowed entry to the club.
