Dido returned to the stage in London this week to perform her first gig in more than four years.
The singer stepped away from the spotlight following the release of her 2008 album "Safe Trip Home," and she is now preparing to return to the charts with a new record, "Girl Who Got Away."

Dido made her return to live performance by playing for a small audience of just 100 people at the private Arts Club in London on Thursday night showcase material from her new album. The singer says she was worried about performing again after a four-year break, but the nerves disappeared once she got on stage.
"I can't believe it's been so long," she says. "I suppose it is a comeback but it didn't really feel like I'd been away once I got up there. You don't realize you miss it until you get up there and it's like, 'Oh, I love doing this'."
Dido says she doesn't currently have plans to tour, but she hopes to hit the road later this year as long as she can take her 18-month-old son Stanley with her, adding, "I was thinking of autumn, maybe? I was thinking I'd have to literally just take him (Stanley) on the bus. He's pretty cool and pretty adaptable, so I hope he'd enjoy it. I think the beauty of my job is that it can be done."
