The home of country music legend Loretta Lynn has been seriously damaged after a powerful storm swept through Tennessee on Wednesday (30Jan13). Lynn's rocker pal Bret Michaels claims the 80-year-old singer and her family have found themselves caught up in the strong winds which have caused havoc across America's south-east coast and he's praying for the wellbeing of all his friends and fans in harm's way. In a post on his website, he writes, "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the many friends, families and fans who have been affected by the violent storms that hit earlier this morning in the southern states. We are thinking of you as the recovery and restoration begins to your lives, including my dear friend Loretta Lynn and her family whose property was severely damaged in the wake of these storms." The extent of the damage caused to Lynn's home, in the ironically-named Hurricane Mills, is not yet known. Lynn isn't the only celebrity affected by the high winds - actress and new mum Jenna Von Oy had the electricity in her home knocked out in the early hours of Wednesday. In a post on her Twitter.com page, she writes, "No power since 3 am, thx (thanks) 2 last night's tornado/winds. Street's cordoned off due to downed lines." And, as a tornado hurtled towards Georgia, actor Ian Somerhalder warned, "Careful Georgia, bad tornado conditions today. They ripped through some schools this morning... Don't remember storms like this. Sucks".
