R&B star Teena Marie's final album is scheduled for release, two years after the singer died.
The singer died on December 2010, and her daughter, Alia Rose, has spent the past two years seeking out the best label and release date for her mother's last recordings.
"The album was actually finished right before Christmas, (and) she was getting ready to go get a deal, and she didn't make it there," Rose told RollingStone.com. "I started moving the day after the funeral. I just went into autopilot. I started taking meetings, figuring out what would be the best place for her to be."
