Destiny's Child readies new song, compilation CD

NEW YORK (AP) -- Destiny's Child is back together -- for a new song.

The R&B trio announced Thursday they will release a new track called "Nuclear." The song is the group's first new offering since 2004.

"Nuclear" will appear on the compilation album "Love Songs," out Jan. 29. It features 13 previously released Destiny Child's ballads, including the hits "Emotion" and "Cater 2 U."

"Nuclear" was produced by Pharrell, who co-wrote the song with Michelle Williams.

Destiny's Child, which includes Williams, Beyoncé Knowles and Kelly Rowland, released its self-titled debut in 1998 with a fourth member, Farrah Franklin. The group's sophomore album, "The Writing's on the Wall," came a year later and garnered multiple hits, but the success also shook up the foursome, and Destiny's Child became a trio.

See this the problem with misinformed Americans about their news and entertainment; Lazy, greedy , so-called journalists who are too idiotic to do research, or are just bought by other to protect their interests.  How dare you say say Michelle Williams and Farrah were on the first album, or the second one. They didn't even sing the later singles they performed on the videos.  It's shameful, that I know 12 year olds who can research or have more integrity than the writer of the this article.  Please go back to school and learn journalism ethics.

Irrelevant then, ridiculous now. Weren't these the same losers that claimed to be he biggest band in the world got ripped off and went home broke?

I believe their manager/producer made all the cash.
