Bono, Sinead O'Connor and Glen Hansard surprised shoppers in Dublin on Monday by hitting the busy streets on Christmas Eve as buskers.
U2 frontman Bono organizes the annual celebrity singalong on the city's Grafton Street, and this year he really brought the festive cheer in a bid to raise cash for homeless charities. Among the songs the stars performed were an acoustic rendition of U2's "Desire" and a beautiful rendition of "Nothing Compares 2 U" (a Prince song with which O'Connor had a big hit in 1990) as well as festive favorites "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" and "Silent Night."
Joining the superstar trio for the Christmas Eve busking were singer-songwriter Damien Rice and Hothouse Flowers frontman Liam O'Maonlai.
