Toni Braxton hospitalized with blood clots

Singer Toni Braxton has been hospitalized after suffering blood clots stemming from her lupus condition.

The "Un-Break My Heart" singer opened up about her struggle with lupus last year, and now the auto-immune condition, which attacks healthy body tissue, has left her in need of medical attention.

She took to Twitter.com on Friday to tells fans about her hospitalization. In a post on her page, Braxton writes, "Hey guys, I'm in the hospital for health issues related to lupus & blood clots, I will be home soon...Thanks for all the love & support!"

 It is the second time Braxton has been hospitalized due to the illness this year -- she was also admitted to a clinic in January after her immune system started to shut down. Braxton also suffers from heart condition microvascular angina.

as a fellow lupus suffer i understand what Toni is going through, but with the right food, exercise and the most important prayer, she will come through this a much healthier person, the lupus person is so fragile and the most minor thing can also be life threatening, so get well and God bless

She still remains so beautiful even though so sick (which I realize is not that important in the total scheme of things, but it is just an observation)....Poor​ dear. I wish her the best and wonder if she has looked into holistic approaches to lupus.? Drugs get ya nowhere and there are MANY natural things that can at least help. Have seem it personally with a friend...tumeric, ginger, special diet for starters.
