costumes at the closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games, according to singer
Melanie Brown.

The group reunited for the show in London, where they rode into the Olympic
Stadium on top of traditional English black cabbies, and sang a medley
of their hits "Wannabe" and "Spice Up Your Life." Brown has now revealed they
used their own money to fund the extravagant performance.
She tells Britain's Daily Mail newspaper, "We didn't get paid for the
Olympics -- we funded it ourselves, costumes and everything. It just goes to
show how much we do get on and do like each other."
