Country star Martina McBride raised more than $35,000 for charity with a
sell-out concert in Tennessee last week.
The singer took to the stage at the Hard Rock Cafe Nashville last Friday to
benefit the Musicians on Call (MOC) Nashville organization, which brings live
and recorded music to hospital patients.
The evening also featured an auction, and McBride is delighted with the total
raised.
She says, "I was so happy to be a part of the fifth anniversary of Musicians
On Call in Nashville. We put together an eclectic set list of hits mixed with
some of our favourite album cuts for a show that was one-of-a-kind. It's a great
organization doing important work and I was proud to be a part of that very
special evening."
