Late start to Madonna concert angers Miami fans

MIAMI (AP) -- A later-than-usual start for a Madonna concert in Miami angered fans in attendance.

The Miami Herald reports that Madonna didn't take the stage until just after 11:30 p.m. Monday night. She typically begins performing at 10 p.m.

I don't understand why people would pay outlandish ticket prices.  Just to see an old woman who is hours late for her own show?  She needs to find some young talent and become a mentor.  Her time is way past over and she is becoming a joke.  She needs to come to grips with the fact she is old!  I don't care how much plastic surgery, injections and workouts she does.  Her body is still old.  Her halftime show was all the proof needed.

"If you have to ask how much it costs you probably can't afford it." That's Madonna. Step away from the celebrity. Bow before the prima donna.

rockyvee: Geesh, what do you think of  69-year-old Mick Jagger??? Should his doctor give him drugs to make him die, already?????  I am 7 years older than Madonna and I do NOT think I am any where close to going to my grave. You must be under 20, right? When you are 54 do you want YOUR loved ones to think you are 'old and nasty' and need 'liquid food and Depends'???? Grow up!!

As for Madonna's lateness: No excuse unless she had a 'good' one...... Just WHAT was your excuse, Madonna????

She had a couple of shows in Vegas too and was way late I guess she doesn't really give a damn about her fans. Maybe they should stop buying her music and wake up her pocket book.

After her disaster of a half-time show at the super bowl this year, I read an article where she said, out loud, that her ticket prices were so high because she puts on a great show and if people can't afford a ticket, then don't buy that next expensive purse or shoes.  Seriously?  Now, not only does she expect you so spend $500 per ticket, but now you will in turn be late to or miss a day of work that is paying this crazy price for a show that is full of insensitive BS and you have to listen to her stupid political views to boot.  She needs to come to grips with the fact that at her age, she looks ridiculous trying to pull the same stunts she did 20 yrs ago; her music and her tour have turned into a bad joke; but so long as 'the fans' are willing to pay to see it, she will keep putting it out there.  No thanks!
