Tony Lucca to collaborate with former Mouseketeer Justin Timberlake

"The Voice" alum Tony Lucca has plans to collaborate with his former "Mickey Mouse Club" co-star Justin Timberlake on his upcoming album.

he season two second runner-up was coach Adam Levine's last man standing, on the show and walked away with a national tour and a contract with the Maroon 5 frontman's record label, 222 Records.

And while Lucca tells The Hollywood Reporter he will definitely be collaborating with Levine to write tracks for his album, he also reveals that his longtime friend Timberlake will be in the studio with him as well.

He explains, "After I signed with Adam, I hit him up right away. We're different genres stylistically as artists, but as musicians and as a producer, he's done just about every kind of thing out there. It would definitely have his Midas touch on it; he's not afraid to take risks either. Anyone who can declare they're bringing sexy back is about as ballsy as someone who can profess to the world that he has the moves like Jagger."

As Lucca looks forward in his future in the music industry, he says he will never forget what the show and Levine have done to help him grow as an artist.

He adds, "Adam says, day one: 'Don't invest too much in winning. You've all won, you're here, you're on TV, you're getting exposure -- this is just the beginning of your careers now. The fact that he went on to sign me is a testament." I

Incidentally, Lucca was reunited with another fellow ex-Mouseketeer on "The Voice," judge Christina Aguilera, who was not as accommodating to Lucca as Levine, providing tense moments between all three during the season's final few episodes.
