Graphic Guns N' Roses Vegas poster draws criticism

LAS VEGAS (AP) -- A county commissioner in Las Vegas says she regrets that the board renamed a street in honor of Guns N' Roses, after finding out about the band's suggestive promotional poster.

Bing: Axl Rose endorses Obama -- kind of

An ad promoting the band's four-week run at the Hard Rock Hotel depicts a woman who appears to be sexually assaulted beneath the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.

It's a sanitized version of the banned cover for the album "Appetite for Destruction," which features a disheveled woman with a breast exposed and underwear pulled below her knees.

County leaders this week temporarily renamed Paradise Road to Paradise City Road after the band's famous song.

Commissioner Mary Beth Scow tells the Las Vegas Sun she didn't know about the inappropriate poster.

Neither the hotel nor the band returned calls seeking comment.

If every body worried as much about the enemies of our country, as much as they do about other peoples sexual prowess then we wouldn't have any enemies or drug gangs, or illegal. Man wouldn't that be something?

Let us not be restricted by our minds eye for that of which we may or may not deem art... I'm pretty damn sick and tired of all the kid gloves **** we're going through this generation.  Everything has to be held under a microscope and evaluated to make sure it doesn't offend someone --  I'm fuggin' offended by penial explosions in the mouth getting offended so easily.  Stick a goddamn rag between your legs, shut the **** up and worry about your own lives and stop trying to restrict what everyone else is doing, when they do it.

If everyone would spend a fraction of the the time living their own lives that they do living someone else's for them this would would probably spin more smoothly.

Why can I comment on this but a political story favoring Obama has no way for me to comment?

I see right through this stealthy attack on President Obama.

What does the fact that Guns & Roses endorsed the re-election of President Obama have to do with a street in Las Vegas being named after them?  Absolutely nothing!

Correct me if I'm wrong... Isn't prostitution legal in Vegas and sex a major capitol? Maybe the girls was just finishing up with her john.
