The actress won an Academy Award for her musical turn as June Carter Cash
in "Walk the Line," the 2005 Johnny Cash biopic, and she is said to be
heading back to the recording studio.
According to Us Weekly, Witherspoon, who gave birth to son Tennessee James on
Sept. 27, is in talks to record a duet with the Canadian crooner. No details
about the project have been confirmed. Witherspoon told MTV in 2004
that recording the soundtrack for "Walk the Line" was "the most
challenging, horrifying experience of my life. Me singing in front of people
while they're listening to me is just horrifying. And it gets exponentially
horrifying when extras show up and have to watch you perform."
